Blue Phosphate Limited is a Non-govt company, incorporated on 18 Dec, 2009. It's a public unlisted company and is classified as ‘company limited by shares. The Corporate Identification Number (CIN) of Blue Phosphate Limited is U24232RJ2009PLC030522. The registered office of Blue Phosphate Limited is at G-1 29 TO 39RIICO,INDUSTRIAL AREA, SANWAD, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The company manufactures powdered single super phosphate (SSP) and granular single super phosphate (GSSP) and has its manufacturing facility in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It is owned by Mr Zafar Ullah Khan and Transworld Furtichem Pvt Ltd.

The role of SSP in improving soil health. Uses of modern techniques of sowing wherein mixture of seeds and granular fertilizer is used at the time of sowing only. This has resulted into shifting of fertilizer demand from powder to granular fertilizer. Indian farmers have started making pace with the technological development are adopting advanced manufacturing processes to prepare innovative new products for Indian agriculture. It is therefore expect SSP to have a good future in the years to come as per recent policy pronouncement of the Union Government through reduction of basic customs duty on some water soluble fertilizers and liquid fertilizers, other than urea, from 7.5 percent to 5.0 percent and from 5.0 percent to 2.5 percent. Also the import of equipment for fertilizer projects are being fully exempted from basic customs duty of 5.0 percent.

India is basically an agricultural country and agriculture is the backbone of Indian economy. As a result, Indian fertilizer industry has tremendous scope in the country as it is one of the allied parts of agriculture providing agri-input. However, India has a tremendous task of feeding its fast increasing population. In order to be self-sufficient in food grains, heavy reliance will have to be placed on fertilizers. Single Super Phosphate (SSP) Fertilizer industry is the pioneering fertilizer industry in the country. Since conventional agricultural practices are still being pursued by the farmers who use most efficacious quality seeds & fertilizers due to poverty, SSP fertilizer is cost effective for them as it provides phosphorous and sulphur at lower cost. Hence, small and marginal farmers prefer to use it because it is easily affordable. Major portion of agricultural land in India is Sulphur deficient, and it adversely affects the crop yield. N, P, K & S in proper ratio increases fertility of soil. Single Super Phosphate (SSP) fertilizer contains Sulphur and Calcium besides Phosphorus so it is an ideal manure to eliminate sulphur deficiency of soil resulting into increase in yield of pulses, groundnut etc. to a great extent.

  • Mr. Yusuf Dhanani & Family owns around 22% stake in Sayaji Hotels & around 20% stake (directly & indirectly) in Barbeque Nation Hospitality Limited.
  • However, Fertilizer Business 100% belongs to Mr. Yusuf R. Dhanani & his son.

  • Parent Company Transworld Furtichem Private Limited established in 2004 has 3 manufacturing plants in Roha (Maharashtra) which is EOU Unit, Kandla SEZ (Gujarat) and Mangalore (Karnataka). The entire manufacturing sales is exported to 12+ Countries.
  • Foreign Associate Company Blue Deebaj FZCO & Blue Deebaj Malaysia SDN BHD has manufacturing units in Dubai & Malaysia. Sales network of this companies is spread across 26+ countries.

COMPANY STRENGTH & NETWORK

  • Earlier the promoter had a company named Liberty Phosphate Ltd. which was having 8 plants across India with 30000+ Distributor network.
  • Liberty phosphate was sold to Coromandel Fertilizers a big giant in this industry with all the brand & distribution network for whopping value of INR 560 + Crs in the year 2011-2012.
  • Post non-compete period the promoters again restarted SSP Business in India in the name & style of Blue Phosphate Limited with a new brand called “Nutri Feed”.
  • Presence in 7 States in India presently with almost 150+ distributors.
  • Existing Capacity of 132000 MT per annum at Udaipur. New capacity added around 66000 MT per Annum through leased plant at Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh.
  • Further under negotiation & finalization of new plants to be added in Kota, Rajasthan and 2 other states. This capacity is planned to be added in next 2-3 years’ time.
  • State Bank of India (Lead Bank) has done assessment of INR 70 Crs of limit and further has taken enhancement of limits from existing INR 20 Crs to INR 35 Crs (75% enhancement of limit)
  • Company is growing strongly from sales of INR 64 Crs in FY 21 to INR 102 Crs in FY 22, further the company has already crossed last year sales no in 10 months of operation in current financial year. The company is eyeing to close FY 23 with topline of approx. INR 150 Crs.

Whole Time Director

Zafar Ullah Khan is Commerce Graduate from MLSU University and Whole Time Director of the Board of Blue Phosphate Limited. He joined the Board of Blue Phosphate Limited in 16th August, 2013 and was appointed Whole Time Director in March 2015.
His appointment as Whole Time Director followed a 35-years business experience in Techno-Commercial and also headed the Marketing team all over the Country.

Pradeep Ramjivan Goyal

Director

Pradeep Ramjivan Goyal is a Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI and Director of the Board of Blue Phosphate Limited. He joined the Board of Blue Phosphate Limited in 10th June, 2016.
His appointment as Director followed a 30-years business experience in the field of Finance & Accounts -Commercial and also headed the Finance team all over the Country.

Saquib Salim Agboatwala

Saquib Salim Agboatwala is a Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI and Independent Director of the Board of Blue Phosphate Limited. He joined the Board of Blue Phosphate Limited in 04th April, 2018.
His appointment as Independent Director followed a 25-years business experience in the field of Finance & Accounts -Commercial and also guiding the Board in decision making.

Mihir Mukesh Bhatia is a Commerce Graduate from University and Independent Director of the Board of Blue Phosphate Limited. He joined the Board of Blue Phosphate Limited in 04th April, 2018.
His appointment as Independent Director followed a 20-years business experience in the field of Infrastructure and also guiding the Board in setting -up projects.
